“Listening to this podcast was not only brilliant as a conversation between two artistic individuals but other elements made it so much more than just a discussion. Louboutin appreciates Imran’s creativity as well as his skill, and their descriptions and discussion of the works and the installation were painting pictures in my mind. The podcast could also be appreciated as an artistic sound piece as those sounds of the artworks being installed and handled which are usually on the periphery were actual bought into focus. The ebb and flow of the conversation with the loud jarring sounds interspersing the sound space made for an even more evocative experience and almost harked to a sound piece. The banter between both of them became even more interesting for me when they discussed a painting titled ‘Red Soul’, 2019 which is in the AAN Collection and is hanging in my house and Louboutin challenges Imran on who can sketch better drawings of Louboutin shoes
